Yesterday – 04.10.08

Turned out be to pretty uneventiful. Usual problem of waking up early I think it was 4.30 which is not to bad for me, combination of things that woke me up inc stupid back ache and brain doing overtime. I used to enjoy getting up really early but now the business is so streamlined there isn’t an awful lot to do 1st thing at the moment and my new T.V is so powerful it’s impossible to watch it quietly I may invest in some headphones.

Had 2 Tonne of chippings arrive at 930 for the front of the house, have decided to get get rid of all the grass it’s such an ass to take care of, given the state of back I had hoped for rain but alas it was dry but it didn’t take long to do really but I shouldn’t have done it, stupid back ache has turned into pull myself off the ceiling in pain back ache.

Rained pretty much for the rest of the day so the family and I just had a lazy day watching movies and playing games. Cooked an easy tea nothing fancy good old Toad in the Hole, if you get that oil really piping the results are great, couple of sprigs of rosemary and it’s all done, wine was a bit ropey but if the wife will keeping going to Spar I don’t know what she expects, will use the rest today for gravy.

That was it really, flogged a few baths etc played a few games and by 1030 I was in bed.

I must remember next week to get myself booked in for a full health check and maybe a full scan, 16 years of excess must be catching up on me, I have pains were I never used to, things just don’t feel right and it’s not just my back, got a few problems in the knee’s, collar bone, rugby is definately off the menu for a while which is a real pity, the thrill of smashing a flyhalf into the dirt really can’t be beaten not to mention a few good kidney punches when the ref has his back turned. I think I may have to face facts, my days are numbered.
